I have been photographing couples since 2012 and let me tell you..no two couples are the same! I take that with a lot of heart.
As an enneagram 4, I thrive off of being different from others. I love individuality and authenticity. There's really nothing I love more than when someone sees me for who I really am, and that is what I strive for when I photograph YOU. I want to really see you. I want you to look back at your photos and really SEE yourselves and how you felt that day.
I hate surface level, small talk. I love sharing stories and making a genuine connection. I want to know you both deeply and tell your story in the richest way I can.
I'm also incredibly passionate about high quality experiences and adventure
(my favorite adventure was doing a polar plunge in Antarctica)!

I am so passionate about couples having support when they elope because when my partner and I made the decision to elope, we felt alone, scattered and overwhelmed. What was meant to be the 'stress-free' option, quickly turned into a massively overwhelming experience. I cried many nights in the beginning because I didn't have my family's support.
I never want my couples to feel the pain and stress I felt. Though I can't take away all of your problems, I want to be there for you in any way I can. I want you to know that your choice to elope is VALID and you can have the best day ever, even if the people you thought would support you aren't.

You don’t have to hike 10 miles for your elopement to be deemed as 'adventurous'.

Truly though. I believe that the people who hike endless miles on their wedding day are totally badass, no question about that. I do however, feel that the word adventurous, is not always inclusive.
I believe that traveling, and putting yourself out there and
expanding your comfort zone regularly are what deems a person as adventurous.
What I love about traveling is the willingness one must have to jump into the unknown, and I think that a marriage is very similar in that way:
always an adventure.

Dani photographed my tiny, 3 guest, backyard, pandemic wedding in August 2021.
Taking photos allowed for us to have time together to let the love sink in. Dani was easy and fun to be around, and joined our gathering seamlessly.
She provided gentle guidance and prompting without insisting on stiff poses, but still suggested slight adjustments and kept an eye out for uneven clothing and hair in your face.

This is really important to me because I know what it feels like to have to wait to see what your day looked like when it's just you and your partner, your dog and your officiant. You have all of those giddy butterflies in your stomach and want to share them with you closest family and friends. You just did the thing and your bragging rights need visual proof.

First things first, you'll fill out my contact form and tell me some things about you two, your love story, and the day you're dreaming up.
After I receive your inquiry, I do a happy dance and send you a pricing guide that's customized for your specific location, as well as a link to schedule your initial consultation call with me!
We hop on zoom, my Golden Retriever makes a cameo, we become best friends and we dream up your big day together. It's starting to feel real now!
After our zoom, I will send your contract and invoice. It's all done online and is super quick and easy, so we can focus more on the adventure we're planning than paperwork!
And then, the fun part begins, we start making your dreams a reality!
I will send you a handful of questionnaires throughout our planning process, as well as my 95-page 'How to Elope' guide, exclusive to GSC couples.
We meet up for your engagement session have the best time. Think of this like me third wheeling you on your ideal date!
Then your best day ever arrives and it's better than you could have ever dreamed!
You'll finish this experience with photos to pass down for generations to come (NBD)
and a boatload of memories to go with them.

FAQs
When will I receive my photos?
You'll receive a sneak peek of a few photos within 48 hours of your day (I know you're anxious to 'gram!). Engagement session photos are delivered within 4-6 weeks. Weddings & Elopements are delivered within 6-8 weeks.
How many photos will we receive?
You can expect to receive 50-75 final hand-edited images per hour of coverage! after your wedding day, I'll remove any photos you wouldn't want or need (blinking, blurry, etc) and that don't meet my minimum standards and edit & deliver the rest! Don't worry, I won't withhold any images I think you'll want.
Do you travel?
Heck yes I do! I am down to travel literally anywhere, and offer other pricing guides for different parts of the world so my travel is included in your package fee. If you're curious about a certain place, let me know and I'll send the pricing over.
Do you give us the raw files?
Nope! I don't send any un-edited/raw files! Most of the magic happens during the editing process, so without that step your photos are only halfway done! This is why I only deliver the final product, which are hand edited, high quality, print-ready, jpegs.
Do you photoshop your images?
I am a firm believer that everyone is beautiful how they are. I do not edit or alter your images to drastically change your appearance. However, I do use some skin smoothing and blemish removing techniques and will also remove any major distractions from the background. As far as photoshopping tummies, chins, arms, etc, I don't do that. Instead, I work to pose you in ways that are natural, relaxed and flattering.
What is an adventure session?
It's essentially an engagement session but they can also be used for anniversaries, day after sessions, or just because! What makes them adventurous is the location we choose and the activities we plan! I always tell couples to make their engagement photos like a date that I'll be 3rd wheeling on. Maybe we go for a short hike to an epic view and then head to your favorite brewery.
Where are you actually based? NY, Philly or CA?
Are there travel fees to either of these places?
I know it can be confusing when a photographer is based in more than one location! You want that local pricing! I totally get that. Full transparency: I am currently living on the east coast and my husband and I are planning to get an additional apartment in NorCal this year! So, I will truly be able to serve both places with ease. I am SO flipping excited to be serving my two favorite places that I know like the back of my hand.
There are NO travel fees for eastern NY, eastern PA or the Northern CA *happy dance*!
What if we don't know where we want to elope yet?
This is one of my favorite questions!The only solidified information I need in order to get booked is a date and a general region of the world. For example, "we want to get married somewhere in the PNW in July, but we're not sure where to start". I send you my availability for July, we get you booked! A major part of my process is guiding you through finding the perfect place for your elopement and curating a timeline that gives you ample time to do the things you care about while also getting the best light for portraits. I have a super in-depth elopement guide I send to my clients after booking to help with the planning process. I am here for you!
